Supertubos is Peniche's most recognized beach break. In the right conditions, barrels break close to the sand and create high-impact images.

Conditions

Well-organized west swell and east wind. It is a fast, heavy wave suited only to experienced surfers.

Photo angle

The proximity of the wave allows tight sequences with great detail, from the drop to the exit of the barrel.

Surf photographer in Supertubos: how it works

Supertubos, in Peniche, is the heaviest beach break in the country and hosts a world tour event. Short, fast barrels: reaction photography, with the camera ready before the wave opens.

I shoot from the beach with a telephoto lens, so nothing changes for you: surf as usual and I take care of the rest. We agree on the spot and time the day before, based on the swell, wind and tide forecast.

Solo photography — €40/hour
Solo video — €50/hour
Group photography, up to 5 — €70/hour
Group video, up to 5 — €90/hour

Editing included. High-resolution files by private link, delivered within 48 hours, with vertical crops ready for Instagram. Outside the regular areas (Cascais, Sintra, Ericeira and Almada): travel is agreed before booking.
